On August 19, it was officially revealed that the Jujutsu Kaisen manga would be concluding in five chapters, with the final chapter releasing on September 30. The Jujutsu Kaisen story began in 2017 when author Gege Akutami released Volume 0, and the main series began serialization in March 2018. The anime adaptation was a huge success with season one in 2020, and went to even greater heights with season 2 last year.
This manga has been consistently one of the highest selling mangas over the last few years, and is also one of the most discussed series on social media. With fan favorite characters ranging from the main cast of Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo, and Megumi Fushiguro to the curse user villains of Suguru Geto, Kenjaku, Mahito and Sukuna, this series is known for its action and tragic character arcs.
Fans will still be able to enjoy the future seasons of the anime adaptation, yet the ending of any story is always a bittersweet pill to swallow.
